Hog

"Hog"
Copyrighted 2011
Meet Hog of Faern-Laega Art Dolls.  He is the wild thing of  the town... a low rider if you will.  Hog has American patriotic influences on his skull...the eagle is spectacular.  His chin, a nod to the good ole' days of flower power. Hog is an aged biker... look at that rat tail.     Doo-rag, of  "red white and blue".  Off  black "leather" studded jacket holds a pack of smokes: Camels. Biker boots painted with flames.   He stands 15 inches.
All clothing for Hog was custom  fitted to his body no patterns.

THE SWIMMERS

Meet Betty and Mavis Anne  ...known to all as" The Swimmers"  They are the newest inhabitants at Faern-Laega.  This  was a fun pattern designed by Sally Lampi.  I think beginners may run into some difficulties at first.. the rewards will bring  smiles though.  How you paint the face as well as positioning of the dolls on their post will add to the individual personalities.  Go crazy with the fabric combinations.   I mounted the swimmers on  lake-aged wood.  This piece with wood base measures 17 inches by 12 inches high.  Now listed on my selling blog.
